Every 9th and 10th grade student at Richland Northeast is part of the Middle Years Program, a student-centered program which encourages each of our students to draw connections between eight subject groups and the world in which they live. The curriculum is linked together by six Global Contexts, which form a natural bridge between disciplines and offer differing conceptual perspectives.
A hallmark of the MYP is the Personal Project that all students will complete during their 10th grade year. This creative and independent research process allows students to experience the responsibility of completing a significant piece of work over an extended period of time. This website will provide all the necessary information to complete the project successfully and answer any questions you might come across (simply click the "Personal Project Information" tab). If you can't find what you need here, don't hesitate to email for additional help. All necessary contact information is below.
